Formulation, Planning and Evaluation of Public Policy
Normative Analysis and Development Tools and Promotion for Green Economies
Analyzes the regulatory framework of Mexico from it formulates a set of strategic lines: solve the regulatory gaps that face, give coherence to the Mexican environmental regulatory framework and move towards a Green Economy.From the analysis of the legal framework which the Mexican environmental regulations stems, coverage of existing standards and instruments developed building for different productive sectors is determined by determining policy needs arising from international law and treaties as well as the Mexican environmental situation and its relationship with emerging issues on the world stage.
The study examines the issue of environmental self-regulation, the ISO standards and the various instruments of voluntary certification that could be incorporated by SFNA, in addition to boost the green economy. Environmental regulation compared to the three countries of NAFTA and the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation of North America is also analyzed; regulatory aspects deriving susceptible and convenient harmonization and proposes strategic components for its implementation.
