Planning and optimization of logistics chains
Study of logistics chains and their costs in the port of Veracruz.
The study includes the identification and analysis of the costs of the main door-door, for the competing Port of Veracruz and logistics chains, and the design of an automated information system that allows the consultation of information.The study is the identification of key source destination pairs door-door cargo handled by the port of Veracruz and competing ports, identifying operators and research or estimate of the costs of the various components of the chain logistics door to door.
International Altamira, Tampico, Coatzacoalcos, Manzanillo and Lazaro Cardenas, and all elements of the supply chain information including land and port services: a model of integrated cost, which interactively estimates the cost door door and competing ports of Veracruz was prepared ; in the system interact three databases: a) Maritime Service Fees; b) Fees Door to Door Service via the port of Veracruz; c) Fees Door to Door Service Competition; d) parametric information that incorporates parameters and complementary indicators such as exchange rate, distances land, sea distances, rail distances, times.
