Urban Development Sector Program - Wine Region Tourism.

This program contains the guidelines to regulate urban growth of the Wine Valleys of the northern area of Ensenada to promote the orderly and sustainable development of agriculture and tourism in the Valle de Guadalupe. Several of the actions proposed in the program have been implemented, positioning the Wine Route at national and international level.

Achieving a balance in the Guadalupe Valley aquifer through the development of an Integrated Tourism Development Program.

Holistic view of Tourist-Sustainable Development

The program raised the strategy to balance the Guadalupe Valley aquifer through coordination, financing and implementation. Strategies and actions for sustainable tourism development for the Valley were defined, considering the preconservation of the agricultural landscape, orderly and controlled growth of population in relation to economic activity in the Valley, the development of tourism products, hotel facilities, equipment and tours, and integration of the population to economic development in the region.

The requirements of urban and tourist land reserves is also established, as well as the diversification of tourism products as rural, gastronomic tourism and ecotourism.
